“Qing” is a play on “King.” It is a deliberate choice that challenges tradition and reclaims power in a space historically shaped by men. It represents boldness, clarity, and the right to take up space. Each bag is handcrafted with top grain leather and premium materials sourced to meet the standards of legacy fashion houses. What sets us apart is the care behind every stitch and the purpose behind every design.

From Collector to Creator
Carolyn Veronica launched Qing Valid in 2020, beginning with a personal love for handbags and a vision to create something with deeper purpose. As someone who always admired high fashion, she also saw the industry’s quiet imbalance — many of the most iconic brands were created by men, even though it was women, and often women of color, who carried the culture forward.
She wanted to create something different. Something that honored luxury and craftsmanship, but also spoke directly to people who had been left out of the traditional fashion narrative. Carolyn began designing her own bags, using the same premium materials as brands like Louis Vuitton and Chanel, but with a focus on accessibility, identity, and impact.
Each piece was crafted by hand — built to last, made with care, and designed to feel like the most confident version of yourself. Qing Valid quickly grew from a passion project into a growing brand rooted in authenticity, boldness, and intention.
